Did anyone refuse to join BITS only because of its huge fees?

I did.

I got a score of 398/450 in BITSAT 2019. This score is enough to get CS in BITS Pilani, Pilani campus.

I underperformed in JEE Advanced 2019 and ended up getting a rank of 3407. My performance in JEE Main also wasn’t that great either (99.7%ile).

My interest was in electronics and coding, as I am involved in these things since quite a long time.

So, I had these choices:

1. The easy choice – Take CS in BITS Pilani.
2. The moderate choice – Take Electronics / IT in NIT Surathkal or Warangal
3. The tough choice – Take an old IIT with a branch that I did not want and try for a branch change.
