Okay, I will give you my honest advice and will tell u about my experience there. I joined VIT Vellore in 2019 in CSE branch in category 1. I am right now in my 2nd year. And as per my experience, my journey till now has been pretty average or just above average u see. Like u have to attend classes for the sake of 75% attendance criteria even though u can study better at ur hostel room. There r some teachers who r really chill and intelligent but there r more number of teachers who r completely useless and they just want to ruin our lives.
The campus is really beautiful and utside campus u will find variety of shops including GameZone and all and if u want to smoke then also there is one shop we call as mamu ki shop. I don’t smoke ,I just know. There are various clubs and chapters in every branch so if u want u can join those clubs. Some are pretty good like IEEE club is pretty dope. And one chapter in Chemical branch is AICHE, that also is very good.
