It depends on if you have talked to the hostel warden and have submitted application.
First preference is always for outstation students. But, ultimately they follow FIFO order to give seats. You gotta hurry in.
Even if you don’t get hostel in RV campus, you can ask for hostel in Jayanagar. Downside is you gotta travel in college Bus by incurring additional costs.
If you don’t find seat this year, not to worry. Score well, apply at the end of 2nd sem. If you have good CGPA, you’ll definitely get the seat in Rvce campus hostel.
