Well you can, as 25 is the age limit. But otherwise you should give a thought to it. From my personal experience you can not predict anything, there are many factors apart from Hard work that influences the result. Last year I got marks in 500 and number of students who appeared were 11 lakh, this year I am getting in 400 and number of students have increased to 13 Lakh. Surely I will get worse than what I would have got the previous year. Though I had worked harder this time. And the reason for this was the previous night… when because of anxiety I was unable to sleep and then I took a sleeping tablet to induce sleep. What I wanna say is everything is highly unpredictable, if you are getting anything good this time, take it, and work hard afterwards, you can do wonders from any field, if you can afford take admission in private or apply for FPMT, or just do work hard for AIIMS and JIPMER, if you value your efforts. Just move forward, move on, competition will keep increasing. There is also chance that you may crack the exam the next year, ultimately you have to see which is more stronger your will or fear of failure? Lastly its not only we who sacrifice things for exam, are parents are equally involved,so we should consider them also. Such is a way of medical competition that years pass like months, months like days and days like hours, that we don’t even realise how we gave our 2,3,4,5,6…yrs of life just preparing. The thing is getting a Medical seat is not the end but the start…
