I can tell you my experience and you can draw your inferences from that
I had joined Dams coaching in my 3 rd year of MBBS …but I didn’t take the coaching class as seriously as I should have …I attended the classes regularly and didn’t miss any but I didn’t study and solve mcqs after each class…I used to attend the class and listen attentively and make notes …so by the end of 3 Rd year I had the notes for all 19 subjects …I tried to read the notes after class was over but didn’t do it sincerely…fast forward to final year where it’s so hectic that neet pg exam was the least of my concern …and then during internship my college was quite hectic…I read notes when I got time but again couldn’t read much
Then i decided not to join coaching class after internship but to study on my own …because in coaching class you will essentially be getting good notes which I already had …so I started studying on my own from April 1 St 2018 and was able to get a good rank in the neet exams this year ….I used the review books to supplement my notes and added to my dams notes …only pharmac class I didn’t find my notes useful so I went and attended a class only for that
