For NEET PG the minimum qualification is MBBS from a recognised institute. An MBBS passout from AIIMS has the same degree as awarded by any other government recognised medical institution. Yes there is a difference in AIIMS passout and others. Every MBBS student from any state medical college has some internalship for that state. Since AIIMS is a central autonomous institute so its students don’t get that internalship of the state or Union Territory where that particular AIIMS is located. This is the only difference between a state run institution and AIIMS.
