It depends on the situation.
- If you are focussing on boards only. I will say a big NO. Because, mordern abc contains all the extra knowledge which is not required for boards. You should be only and only thorough with NCERT. Sincerely do all the intext and back exercise questions. Sometimes same ques will be asked and only magnitude will be changed. Solving all the organic questions of NCERT is not a cake walk. If u will, then your concepts are strong.
- If you are focussing on competitive exams like JEE , NEET. I will suggest you to study from mordern abc because organic can be asked outside from NCERT and for this mordern abc is perfect guide book. All the reactions and mechanism are very well explained. Besides this, there are MCQs to practice at the end of each chapters.
