- Donot expect your engineering life to be so much fun. Donot!!
- RV is a safe option if you are looking for a decent placement assuming you turn out pretty fine as you graduate. So cheer up placement hungry teens.
- There’s going to be enough competition in your class. Since mostly hardworking rankers join this college(Just ignore those undeserving pseudo reservations).
- Prepare for 85% attendance policy(Which is too much by the way)!! Being a freshman, You won’t get too much time to have fun.
- Almost Every Saturday and Sunday is off. So spend those days wisely. You won’t get to have much fun on the weekdays.
- You are not some cool freshman in some xyz world renowned university. So learn to adhere to some “not so sensible” dress Code. NO T SHIRTS to college(Which kinda okay if you can stand those humid lectures wearing shirts). If you stay in hostel, also adhere to no shorts rule in dining hall(Which by the way is completely senseless!!)
- The orientation is quite monotonous and boring. From Statisical complexities in Grade calculation(Which most don’t understand by the way) to few other stuff about college, better skip some parts of it.
- The opening ceremony on the first day isn’t very helpful.
