In my opinion all the other colleges apart from the IIT’s and NIT’s fall in the same category. Colleges like VIT,SRM and Manipal are all good for engineering provided you put in your efforts. One factor which plays a very important role is the exposure which each college can provide. As far as I know VIT and SRM have international tie-ups with universities, hence there is lot of exposure. The infrastructure is best in VIT university while SRM follows after.
