Are there any engineering colleges in India that offer direct admission into the 2nd year?

To get direct admission in 2nd year is not possible but yes lateral entry options are available. Like thapar university, they conduct an exam in December called LEET for the students who want to take direct admission in 2nd year after completing there diploma or 1st year. So it’s a good option for those who are not able to crack in through JEE mains as these exams( LEET ) are comparatively easier.
