I would say no, it’s only if you have good grades there is more chances of you being selected.I myself take the interviews, and when we go to any campus for placement drive, the first thing we ask every student about their grades and then we take interviews. We hire first on the basis of interview and then grades because in many cases students are academically intelligent but they were not able to perform well in job and many cases student are average performing but does very well in job.
But it doesn’t mean student gets fail in class or school . For example: we in consulting travels whole world, and for some countries they will not give you visa unless you have degree.
