Both colleges have good scope for placements.If we compare both of them VIT is far better then Manipal as there is a big gap between both colleges VIT no-13 whereas Manipal-27 As per MHRD rankings . Also VIT is no-1 institute in private colleges . Hence both of them have good scope .You can go anywhere .!
