I took COMEDK UGET 2016 and scored 142 so I guess I am eligible to answer this question. I don’t know whether its rules are same yet or modifications have been done. I will tell you according to 2016 scenario.
It is completely a non-negative paper so, try to not leave any question.
The first 2 hours are for Physics and Chemistry and as I was preparing for the JEE so I found them to be very easy. The time is also more than sufficient.
A lot of the questions were previously asked questions in JEE so I knew the answer even without solving. Almost all the questions are from basic concepts of different topics.
Unlike 1st section in which you either know the answer or not, the 2nd section is Maths in which you will not get that much time as you got in 1st section. So, increase your speed. Most of the questions were from determinants and functions. I couldn’t mark few answers due to lack of speed. The difficulty level is again very easy as compared to even JEE MAIN.
Sometimes, when you don’t know what to choose at all, you can play some tricks like- (a) 3 (b)-1 (c)1 (d)8. The answer is mostly like to be (b) or (c) (options with just a minor difference), this is what I have observed. 🙂
