No and yes. It might sound weird but let me explain. BITS Pilani requires you to score at least 60% each in Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics and a minimum aggregate of 75% at +2 level to be qualified for admission. Other than this your +2 marks do not hold any weightage. So two people who have fulfilled all other conditions and have 76% and 89% aggregate at +2 level have to pay the same amount of fee once admitted to the institute.
But there is a catch if you are a board topper. Board toppers do not need to pay the tuition fees and neither do they need to qualify BITSAT (no harm if they do so :P). So if you need scholarship via +2 marks , you need to top the board exams. Hope this answers your query.
