What is the criteria to avail scholarship at BITS Pilani campus?

Primarily, the institute awards two kinds of scholarships; MERIT and MCN (Merit cum Need). More than 22% students benefit from these. To avail MCN, your family income should be less than 6 lacs p.a (as if for now) and then you should maintain a decent cgpa.
Well, decent here is used in a very broad sense as students getting a cgpa of 6.5 also get it, although the amount is lesser than the one with 9.5.
For the MERIT scholarship you will really need to work your ass off! No income criteria. Given only to students with more than 9.5 (approx.).
If your father is a businessman then don’t worry about the income! You’ll anyway get the MCN 😉 Really, Trust me:))
