Open Electives are the mechanism which allows students to pursue what interests them.
The much talked about and appreciated academic flexibility is largely due to open electives.
What makes the Open Elective pool?
Any course offered by the college to which you have fulfilled the prerequisites. This means that a second year EEE student can do a Pharma CDC if he wishes to. He can also do a Management or Humanities.
You can take open elective at any time starting second year.
