No BITS doesn’t allow you to have ACs and Coolers in your room. There are reasons for it: First is that ACs will consume large amount of electricity. Secondly since there are already more than 3000 students residing in Pilani campus, it will be quite a tedious task to provide ACs to each one of them.
But don’t worry BITS got you covered. With the help of our mechanical engineering department, BITSians developed an indigenous way to keep us from succumbing to heat waves in Pilani.
