Is BITS Dubai college worth the money in terms of education and placements?

BITS Dubai, is a decent college. Although nothing compared to its Pilani campus in any field, BITS Dubai holds its own when you compare it with other options in the UAE or the entire Middle East.
End of the day, you get a quality degree with no mention of “dubai” in it. Its a BITS Pilani degree. Period.
Usually the people who don’t get admissions in reputed Indian universities come here or the people who have done their schooling in the gulf region or people from uber rich business families in India.
The education quality is fairly average. Teachers are above avg. at best. End of the day it depends on the student. When it comes to placements the last 2 years have seen a drop, which is also a case for all universities in the region.
All in all, if you are looking for an reputed Indian university in the Gulf and also looking to start your career in the Middle East as an engineer, only then it is worthwhile to go for BITS Dubai. The entry is easy and competition is not even close to what its like in India.
