Thanks for A2A. First of all, please confirm if NEET PG is going to happen at all after 2020.
My personal advice would be to concentrate on the final year exams right now because, there’s a lot of portion to cover and it’s not easy to finish up everything and revise adequately before final exams(atleast it wasn’t for me). Preparing for NEET PG is very much different from that of theory exams. NEET PG is more about applying all the concepts that you’ve learnt to choose the most appropriate option from the given choices, and this requires special preparation. Solving a lot of MCQs would be a good idea to master this but unfortunately there’s not enough time in final year to do all this. Therefore, it would be better to do this during internship period.
At the most what you can do is , solve a few MCQs as and when you finish studying a topic from your final year subjects. But make sure you don’t waste excessive amount of time on this and restrict yourself to doing this only in the initial months of final year.
Lastly, understanding the concepts is very important, for which theory and practical knowledge is required. A person who has a clear idea of the concepts will find it easy to solve the MCQs in future (This is from my personal experience). And for such individuals studying during PG prep would be much more effortless and have higher chances of scoring a better rank compared to others. Good Luck 👍
