Depends on how you studied in 1st and 2nd year. Failing third year is different . 3rd year subjects are minor subjects , if you are not thorough with 3rd year it will affect those 3 subjects only so its not a big problem.
But if your first and second prof subjects are weak then you have to work really hard in final year .final year is tough in itself as the syllabus is so much . But its still possible to bounce back.
- If you are reading surgery keep anatomy book by your side.
- While reading medicine keep pharmacology and microbiology with you.
- Go with system wise approach , for example if u are reading GERD in medicine(GIT) , revise the drugs from pharmacology, cover the same topic in surgery too ( you only need to read the surgical aspect from surgery). Revise patho too wherever its needed.
- Join some coaching , they can make your life a bit easier.Try to focus on important topics first( Don’t bother about rarely asked topics), you have to study smartly here .
- In internship try to read as much as you can . If your college is lenient then you have nothing to worry about ( still i will suggest to go for postings ). If they are strict , try to do your duties sincerely along with studies. You will have to find out what works best for you.
