I scored a NEET PG rank of 4k without studying. I also got a 260 on the USMLE step 1 (prepared for USMLE). I am an intern right now. Should I take the seat?

1st of all.. Congratulations to you. For achieving your success. Now let’s give you an idea about how to go and all. I’m giving you info according to my knowledge. So also do what you are interested. This is only my opinion.

You scored 260 in STEP 1..Hugh Hugh… Actually telling this is the best score you got. And High chances that you will get better residency in USA… Also you got 4k rank… Nice one… So you have 2 ways….I’m giving you criteria on the fullfill basis. So check it on your way and go for it.

1. Do you want to serve country for future ? Or do you want to make best income and high luxurious life style ?
2. Although you got 260 but very less chance to get surgical branch in USA because this is only for US citizens. Not for all. So if you want to do Medicine then ok.. go for it.. But if it is surgery or radiology then go for NEET PG.
3. What your parents think ? Matters most.
4. Are you from well established family or normal one ? Because after passing step 1 you have to go for electives for better score and all. So any family relatives or any one you know is living in USA or not ?? And your family can afford or not ?
