The names of standard books you will get from anywhere but it’s not the books but the strategy you follow which will make the difference.
- Since there is very little time many students just try looking for important questions and notes and somehow just mug those and scrape through first mbbs . This is the biggest mistake you can make.
- Instead of relaxing maximum time and effort should be put in first mbbs to understand the basic anatomy and physiology especially the CNS , brain and the cranial nerves and tracts., the CVS and the circulatory system , the abdominal system thoroughly.
- You can go through the skeletal system and locomotor system a little superficially as there is no time.
- Biochemistry is important but still of lesser importance later on except for a few cycles etc , no need to stress too much about it.
- If you make extensive efforts to learn and understand the topics and concepts I have mentioned above then later on you will be way ahead of others.
- By studying the important topics I mean remembering everything for ever and revising again and again, MBBS is not school where you mug the portion , spit it out for the exams and say goodbye to it for ever, you have to remember important topics of anatomy and physiology for ever to be a good doctor.
