There are gross differences in the parameters which decide your merit in the two exams,
In MBBS exams,
- Theory paper constitute about 60% of the total marks.
- The questions are predictable(for a student to atleast pass) for the university exams.
- The marking scheme does not check that whether you have understood and studied a subject thoroughly or not, but only checks that you have written, is right and in a good manner. Checking also depends on the mentality and knowledge of examiner.
Now, comes the legendary NEET-PG,
- It constitutes of MCQ based paper.
- The questions may or may not be predictable, but the concepts may be.
- The questions surely check, that whether you can analyze a concept from other perspectives or not. Also it is unambiguous i.e. you may be right or wrong only {and no extra marks for good handwritingXD}.
