Hi,
There’s about 74 days left till the NEET-PG exam, so I’m assuming by now most of your core preparations are over. For revisions, one of the best methods is to actually take plenty of mock tests, as it gives you a better picture of where you stand. A good mock test platform can also help you gauge your weak areas, so you can revise those sections specifically.
Here are some benefits to using mock tests as a method of revision:
- Builds your confidence, as you repeatedly keep taking tests that are as close to the real exam as possible.
- You can identify your current standing, so you get a fair idea of how you might perform in the actual test.
- You can identify your weak areas, so you can revise those topics specifically.
- Improves your time management, there’s no point in knowing all the answers if you cannot submit them on time. Mock tests will significantly improve your time management skills.
- Mock tests let you cover a large section of the syllabus in one-go, instead of having to cover them one-by-one.
I’ve seen people build their scores using mock tests, and I hope this method works for you as well. This is just my suggestion, having worked with hundreds of NEET-UG and NEET-PG aspirants in the past 6 years, I believe this approach might just work for you.
I don’t personally recommend any mock test platform, as that is a very subjective thing, however, I’ve heard good reviews about MegaExams for their medical mock test prowess, you might want to give them a try.
I hope this answered your question, if you found it helpful, please leave me an upvote.

Quick Tips
- Don’t be disheartened if your initial scores in the mock test are below what you expected, keep in mind that this is exactly the point. When you know where you stand, and know what to focus more on, you can improve your score in the actual test.
- Don’t be nervous about taking a mock test, you and only YOU will know your score, it’s best to look yourself in the mirror sometimes to know where you stand. It’s best you identify it now, rather than later.
