Bennett’s B.Tech. in Engineering Physics (EP) is designed in such a manner that students not only get a thorough training in fundamentals of physics, but they also take various courses of engineering departments, so as to hone their technical skills.
Like all other B.Tech. students, EP students will start out in the first year by doing basic courses in mathematics, physics, chemistry, electronics, and computer programming. From second year onwards, EP students will start taking more physics courses, along with a course from their chosen engineering department in each semester. Physics courses will be a fine mix of theory and laboratory courses to train them in both theoretical and experimental physics. Similarly, courses from engineering departments have been chosen so that if a person is looking for a job or higher education in a certain engineering discipline, he/she should be able to do it with ease. In later years, EP students can take even more engineering courses by choosing suitable electives.
We expect our students to get placement offers in a variety of areas such as IT, data analytics, technical consultancy, nanotechnology, and finance. Similarly, if EP students want to go for higher education, they can do so in fields such as physics, mathematics, and their chosen discipline amongst Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
