At Jadavpur University you will get a chance to participate in a lot of co curricular activities.
As soon as you enter college in the first year you would have U-Turn.It is the fresher’s fest and there are a lot of events under it.You will have vox pop i.e fresher’s debate.Then there will be Fresher’s football,cricket,handball and other sporting events.
Jadavpur University gets direct entry into regional finals of hult prize,you can participate in that.Jadavpur University also conducts a youth Parliament.Then in March you have Jadavpur University Model United Nations.
Apart from that technical events are conducted in the Tech fest -SRIJAN.Some of the popular events include haptics(robotics), junkyard wars and mathemagecian.
Also you can join various clubs and societies which organize many events.Popular clubs include Science Club,Photography club,Mountaineering club etc.
Also departments like Electrical and Chemical Engineering conduct their own fests comprising of many events.You can definitely participate in them.
I would like to conclude that OPPORTUNITIES ARE PLENTY AT JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY FOR THE ONE WHO SEEKS IT.
