Patna is one of the Tier-2 state capital cities of India, and the 2nd biggest city in East India.
Patna is the 21st fastest growing city in the world and 5th fastest growing city in India according to a study by the City Mayors’ Foundation. Patna also has the lowest slum population of any city in India. During the last three years, many infrastructure projects are completed including major bridges, Bihar Museum, and many government buildings are renovated.
The ‘Mall culture’ in Patna is now the same as any other big city. Malls are in most of the corners of the city. Big Bazar, V Mart, Reliance Stores are present everywhere in Patna. Multiplexes like Fun Cinema, Cine Polis and food chains like KFC, CCD, MacD, Domino’s, Pizza Hut, Haldiram have a presence in multiple parts of Patna.
Some big township projects (Nano, Economical as well as Luxurious types) are already under construction. Most of them are at par with metro cities.
