Let me tell you the real story that goes on behind the closed doors of IIT Hyderabad. Oh yes! i know all the reviews that you would find are positive regarding fractal systems and whatnot. Allow me share with you the actual regime of oppression and repression that goes on which only the people who are studying at IITH know, but do not reveal. It is so frustrating now that the only way to deal with it is to write about it. I will be wholly honest and not sugarcoat anything by playing it up or down. Dont take me wrong, I love my college but this is a reality check.
First of all, it is more than 2 hours away from the city and is located near a small village of Kandi. A more appropriate name is IIT Kandi and not IIT hyderabad.
This is how it all goes. When we came in the first year, the first shock of our lives was the “Campus”. I have never ever seen a more third rated campus than what we had. Rooms were all built in sheds, the cafeteria was in a shed, so was a small stationary and a small barber shop. Well that is all we had. In the name of hostels, there was a collection of shacks in which the students stayed. All were built new, so no complaints there. The worst, my dear friends was the institute building which would have just made up for a primary school. A shoddy 2 floor building with the biggest lecture hall built on the roof. Ya you heard me right,
