I m electrical engineering 3rd year student, The reason I m keeping my identity anonymous is that my batch mates has groups for counselling session and they’re trying to make college image better, but I don’t like this, to spread false things to just attract JEE Rankers. Also, I don’t want my batch mates to go against me hence anonymous.
The truth is I regret each and every day in IIT Patna. I had chance for many IITs in 2015 but I chose this college thinking that it’s fastest growing IIT. But the truth is that even though infrastructure is good here but we lapse on every thing else whether it is faculties or placement, Cultural environment in branches except CS.
LESS QUALIFIED FACULTIES
When you’ll search and compare with other IITs, faculties here are nothing compared to IIT like Hyderabad gandhinagar Indore BBS, although some are exception but only one faculty can’t carry whole branch. They don’t have any interest in teaching, they are so against the students that even you can’t argue on marks or on doubt even though it is correct because they’ll deduct your marks or give you back. Happened to friend of mine. Very less profs hold degree from foreign.
