Manipal University is a reputed and vast campus in south Canara dist of Karnataka. It has good alumni and strong faculty. They are known in all the fields such as engineering, medicine and management. Mostly populated by local coorgee and north Kerala population, they have close to 30% from students from South and other parts of India. A sizable number of students from Mid East, Far east parts of the world are also there. Facilities are good and in few instances world class. Place is safe and in the city of Manipal the university is everything. Placements are good and good students always find the best companies.
