I would say any course in VIT is better than the lower NITs. Please don’t think that I am praising my own college. The lower NITs don’t even have good infrastructure and they are very new but VIT has a very good infrastructure and you will get a lot of exposure and they even have contacts with some top universities all over the world.
The newer NITs or the so called lower NITs lag in many areas but still they are regarded as the institute of national importance. So there is chance that these new NITs may improve themselves in next few years.
So its upon you to take decision whether you need a great exposure in a reputed university for the next four years or take a risk of going to a new institute without any good experience or alumni network.
