I graduated from UPES. But during my admission in BTECH, I also got admitted into SRM University in Aerospace Engineering. I visited their campus . Surely the lab facilities of SRM were way better than that of UPES. The facilities in the labs were lot more better in SRM. They had 3 different types of aircrafts compared to 1 aircraft in UPES.
I don’t know much about the faculty. But I met the HOD of the Aerospace department. He was highly qualified and had worked in ISRO and DRDO.
But the fact is that the fees in SRM for Aerospace Engineering is 3,00,000 (4 years ago) a year whereas fees in UPES, it is 2,50.000 a year.
So, I would suggest that you visit both the campuses before joining, visit the labs and have a small chat with the faculties if possible. Hope this helps………….
