No matter how passionate you are about Aeronautics/Aerospace, no matter how crazy you are about Aircrafts, no matter how much interested you are in this field,
Friend, one sincere advice, Don’t take Aerospace Engineering in BTech/BE.

I know, it sounds disappointing & difficult to comprehend, but this is the best lesson, I’ve learnt, when I applied for Engineering Admissions, though a bit late. I was as passionate about Aircrafts as u are, and am still passionate about it.
But I can assure you, by my personal experience, take a core branch of engineering like Mechanical , Electical or Electronics, etc and you will Never regret that decision.

Even i got a seat for BTech in Aerospace Engg at SRM University, but I didn’t go for it, due to following reasons:

1. At present, An Aerospace Engineer has very very less scope in India, no matter how optimistic one is. And that too, if not from any of the IITs, one hardly has any scope.

2. By choosing Aerospace, you are completely limiting your 4 yrs of engineering just to 1 field. It’s ur bachelors degree, and here itself your completely narrowing down ur option, thus rendering yourself devoid of any furthur scope in future.
