Well let me give you my thoughts and perspective on this and let you decide:
- There is an entrepreneurship cell(E-cell) on the campus that helps you in your startup.
- It has an incubation center that can be used for the initial office of your startup.
- In my second year, an industry guy had come to give a talk on patents and copyrights which I think would be useful (they do this at a regular interval, don’t know the exact timing).
- We have many electives on management and entrepreneurship.
- Many of my friends(during undergraduate) have gone to MIT(Massachusetts Institute Of Technology), UCB(University Of California, Berkely), Wisconsin Madison and many more(as a part of SAP). There they took entrepreneurship classes in the top 10 Universities in the world (according to QS).
- There are numerous cultural events, sports competition and many more such co-curricular things that may help you interact with different types of people.
- There are many failed startups that I know of as all few successful ones out of this college (e.g SRMbyAG)
