Try getting admission in other institutes before you try ASCO. Amity should be your last preference if you are serious about journalism.
Although the BA(J&MC) course is very popular in Amity University this degree does not give you any advantage. In India a simple graduation degree will not get you any decent job. So it really does not matter what course you do. You still have to do a masters (from a reputed university)
The attendance system in Amity will frustrate you. So talk to others before heading off to Amity.
The faculty quality of Amity School of Communication is also pathetic. Except for a handful teachers who have education from reputed universities most are people with no credible experience. What you learn here is worse than Youtube.
Most students who have done BA (J&MC) in Amity School of Communication end up loosing interest in studies and the remaining remain tensed because of the 3 precious years they are wasting on learning nonsense.
