Hi! I assume that you’ve been shortlisted for SLS and received an offer from Bennett University. So, Congratulations! You’ve cleared the first thing for SLS and well, the whole thing for Bennett. I am shortlisted for two SLS campuses too, Pune and Hyderabad. I have my interviews this week. I didn’t apply for Noida and Nagpur.
The choice that you want to make depends upon many many things, if you are shortlisted for Pune, Noida or Hyderabad campus at SLS, you obviously must consider SLS over Bennett Law. Check the NIRF rankings of both universities. The choice mainly depends upon where you are based in India, as in if you are in the South, naturally, you’d prefer Pune, Hyderabad or Nagpur. But if you are based in North India, you’d prefer Noida.
If you have been shortlisted for Nagpur, check the quality of both universities by actually talking to students in both universities. Bennett University is affiliated with Cornell law, so that’s a plus point. And it is a part of the Times group, so that is great too. But the amount of exposure they actually provide is something that the current students will know. Symbiosis has a great reputation in education for the past 40 years, and the placements are pretty decent too. So, it really is difficult to make a choice like that.
