- CSE core: The BTech CSE is considered among the most popular courses in VIT. People normally prefer BTech CSE in Vellore campus & then in Chennai Campus as the top choice.
- IT: IT is only offered in Vellore Campus & is often the second most preferred branch since the course structure & placement opportunities as almost similar to CSE.
- CSE specialisations: Many specializations are offered in VIT in different campus & Aspirants often face difficulty choosing between these with IT in case they miss CSE core.
- ECE & Specializations: Quite evergreen branch as it give most balanced chance to students for core placement as well as IT placement.. the profesdors in this school are really driving cutting edge research in VLSI, Embedded System, Network & Telecom, IOT etc.
- EEE/EIE: Almost similar to ECE but it’s more oriented towards core placement.
