Most people undermine VIT, but is it actually that easy to get into VIT?

Disclaimer: This is not for students of VIT

Admission to VIT is easier than our local private engineering colleges.

In my locality a boy got 54% in boards and FAILED in MATHS.

After 2 months I came to know that he got admission in VIT.

I don’t understand that how can someone who failed in MATHS become Engineer that too from a college which has nirf ranking 15!!!
