I am a student of VIT and so will be telling you about it.
You just need a decent board percentage to get into VIT. VITEEE is an exam that you have to take and qualify for getting admission in VIT. If your board percentage is good, I personally feel there is no need for taking the board again for improvement.
Most companies keep cut off of 60% and you very well qualify that barrier.
