Is VIT (Vellore) better than many NITs?

  • 0

VIT focused mainly on developing its infrastructure for past 7 years and better campus facilities attracted more intellectual people from all over India and also some countries in Asia-Pacific. A collage will be made as a consistent topper in academic, research and technical excellence only by students studying here and university has no part in it as it is just a medium. As companies identify a source where skilled people can be harvested consistently, they come and swarm the collage never mind even when the size of a batch is almost 5000. Last year around 300 companies visited VIT and almost 98% of its students got placed for package ranging from minimum 3.3 LPA to 24 LPA based on their own personal competencies. Many lame people say that most of VIT students get placed in bulk offers like wipro, cts, infosys, tcs and accenture but these are bulk offers which come to campus with 1000 jobs each and look outside and see for yourself the people who clear 12 rounds to get int these companies if they didn’t get job in the collage and ended up applying off campus.

This is answer to those people
1) Do amazon, Microsoft, Oracle hire in hundreds in IITs or NITs?
2) Do all people form IIT/NIT get placed for above 6 LPA even if they do what was the batch size and how much is the competition for a single seat?
3) The same situation is here at VIT and name whatever the big company you know Google, Microsoft, EBay, Paypal etc they tend to recruit only a handful sharp minds may be 2-10 maximum
4) If you show a 100 IIT’ians/NIT’ians placed in a single campus for 6-7 LPA
