I can speak of the engineering education as I study here. Overall I would give SMU 7.5/10. AICTE approved courses, NAAC accredited University, nice campus, good facilities in hostel, mess and sports, updated infrastructure as far as academics are concerned, great teachers, good placement.
All branches are comparable if you talk about faculty and they are good. Placement wise presently CSE and IT are best.
