No, not at all. The students are fed up with the administration. I am writing this anonymously as if I reveal my identity I might never get the degree. I will write down some important points here:
- The place is in the middle of nowhere. If you want to get something you need to go all the way up, now they have installed an ATM machine and some food shops but the quality of food is absolutely shit.
- The mess:- The mess is the worst mess ever. It’s run by some local MLA’s relative or something. So no amount of complaints they receive nobody gives a damn. They give chicken once a week and that also 3 small pieces, fish is smelly which is served once, and eggs are somewhat edible. Now they have introduced pay and eat non veg service where you get fish/egg/chicken for 40/30/50 rupees. They already take so much money still we have to pay again to get good food.
- The administration: The administration will take care of you as if you’re the President when you come for admission, once done they will treat you like shit. Now I am in 4th year , our HOD has deliberately failed to do anything in time. She goes into some meeting and spends the whole day there. She has a responsibility of checking everyone’s project yet she is never on time. I have cancelled my tickets 2 times as she kept on delaying. My job starts in the first week of June and I didn’t go home since the last 6 months, yet she keeps delaying. She doesn’t have the decency to talk to students and her husband is now the Director of the college. This college is nothing but a family run business just like Nehru family. She dictates her colleagues and students as if we are paid to offer her services.
