I did my BE there so I guess I can answer your question. YES. A MILLIon times yes. Heres why:
Infrastructure: truly world class. Our hostel rooms were very well built and we had all facilities. After curfew hours, we even had a night canteen for food. Laundry, cleaning etc.
Classrooms were very nice so were labs and the incubation centres. Of course its upto you how you wish to utilise them.
Faculty: very good faculty. So much research going on, and ample opprtunity to learn.
Placements: 100%. Every year. And a lot top companies come, so its not like only mass recruiting companies are the option.
Life: I still miss it. And will never stop missing it. Absolutely amazing. Manipal is gives you option to every path in life. Everything is your choice. You want to be a rebel or a nerd or a jock, its upto you. Obviously also upto you to bear the consequences of each.
