The CGPA calculation depends on the conversion criteria of the respective university or college from where you completed your diploma. For instance, being alumni of LPU, I will tell you mine.
In LPU, I got 8.2 CGPA and the multiplication factor to convert into percentage is 10. i.e. 8.2*10=82%
Likewise, you may check on your degree or transcript for multiplication factor.
My cousin took admission to BTech(Lateral Entry) in CSE at LPU.
LPU offers B.Tech in various programmes such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc.
