VIT is No 1 private Engineering institute in india according to NIRF 2016 and 2017, ministry of human resource and development ,govt of india.
Its far more better than RVCE though, i am ex student of RVCE.
VIT has world class facilities,dedicated and experienced faculty.
Important thing is VIT college is collaborated with many foreign universties. So you have programs like ITP ( International Transfer Programs) where u get chance to work with foregin students. You will get exposed to larger extent which you cannot get in RVCE college.
I know about this college because one of my professor works as faculty there. They have amazing knowledge about the subject and obvious Phd holder. They have told me about this college,how best it is.
RVCE is also good for BE , you will easily get placed if you are targeting only placement.
