Few colleges like RV, MS Ramaiyah, BMSCE are good colleges but they aren’t as gigantic as VIT & SRM. But in my perspective I find these colleges pretty good due to following reasons:
- Good packages: let’s not be surprised if I tell you that although NIRF ranking had VIT at 13th place and MS Ramaiyah above 40th place (making it a huge difference in ranks) MS Ramaiyah still has higher average package than VIT. This average package stats that I present you here aren’t my own, these are authentic and given by NIRF itself (If you go to the PDF download of each college, you find out the data). VIT has an average package of RS. 3,30,000. While MSRamaiah has an average package of ~Rs. 5,00,000(SRM being further low). These colleges aren’t as famous as these esteemed colleges like VIT and SRM, but they provide you a good education and ROI is surprisingly far better.
- College life: VIT has 20,000 undergrads studying in the college and living there. A college life which a girl or a guy expects or has dreamt of is quite different than the kind of college life VIT provides. In normal colleges, having 100 students in each stream and total of 500 students in one batch, the life is different as compared to VIT having 1500 students in just one stream for just one batch and total of 5k or more in a batch. So VIT has its perks of large population and also cons. But my point is that the college life seems to be quite different here.
- Bangalore: Never forget if you go to colleges like these, I mean BMSCE, MSR, RV etc, you stay in BANGALORE. That’s quite enough of a reason and I need not say anything more than that.
