Which college is better for a CSE, PES College of Engineering or VIT Vellore?
Ofc there are cases and senerios here-
- You got 1st or 2nd category CS , IT in Vit Vellore or Chennai. I would suggest against considering PES. On my research I would say placements vice both are same. Vit 1st and 2nd category seats fees are way more lesser and also you meet a bigger peer group
- You got category 3 in cs it Chennai or Vellore- now u can consider pessat as it costs almost the same and the opportunities are more or less the same. I would suggest u look into your distance from home here. And refer to seniors from both campus and do what your heart says
3. Category 4or 5 students close your eyes and join PES. Why would u pay 1–2 lakh more per year for same quality outcome…. Again ofc if u feel Vit is near to home then u can stay in Vit .
In the end do what your heart says👍
Do your research go find seniors from both colleges and find out points you like and dislike and decide.
Don’t forget PES is asking you Demand Draft of 3.4 lakh before you even sit for counselling so if u want a “safe zone “ before jee counselling I suggest against PES , I doubt the whole amount will be refunded which on the other hand VIT had promised before the commencement of classes .
