Hey!
I am an ECE student in VIT Vellore, but I do have friends who have taken up Computer Science here. VIT is a pretty good place for Computer Science, in fact, it was my first option for my BTech here, before I chose ECE. A lot of people try here for Computer Science too, and I personally think you get a lot of exposure and opportunities to work on your skills here. The sheer number of students within the branch itself makes sure you need to learn fast and learn more everyday to keep up with the students who may be ahead of you.
Of course, the IITs, NITs and BITs are the famous colleges for engineering in general, but VIT isn’t too far behind either
