How good of a college is UIET, Chandigarh? Should I choose it over lower NITs if I get a core branch there? What is the placement scenario?

In comparision to the newer NIT … UIET is much much better than that in respect to placements,faculty,infrastructure. Only these NIT got a NIT tag-name in that nothing else. Whereas in UIET as it is affilated to Panjab University its Degree value is much higher. In considering placements it got a nice placement for ex- IT,CSE got a 100% placement of atleast 4 L.P.A. and there is a quite good placement in other branch as well… Choice is Yours
