Is UIET, Chandigarh good for computer science engineering?

Hi,
Yes it is a good college to be in, but it all depends upon you on how much you are capable to take benefit from.
It has average placements around 4–5 lpa for the CSE people.
But big companies like Google doesn’t come for campus placement here but again of course by your hard work you can get into by applying offline for it.
Benefits of being in Page on u.i.et:
1. You can easily start something of your own, as you will have enough time for that.
2. Syllabus burden is not that much.
3. For practical Knowledge, you yourself have to work on it.
4. Participate in socities like EDC, Software Freedom Day, Rotaract Club Chandigarh etc.
5. More of the story is that, Panjab University has its own importance.
